I read that blogging helps some people lose weight. Though I've tried blogging my weightloss before, I couldnt keep up, thought I'd try it again. Since 1997 I've been playing the weightloss yo-yo. In 2006 I lost 30lbs, went from 203 to 173 in 4 months. Unfortunatly some ugly events happened in my life that year, and I ate my emotions and eventually it ALL came back!

In 2008 I managed to get "some" of the weight off, but couldnt get passed the 180's. Eventually putting almost 10lbs back. In 2009, I started a new diet plan with my church called Prism and I lost 12lbs in 6 weeks, and then eventually losing a total of 20lbs from Jan - April. I got comfortable, and stopped working out. I also developed some ugly eating habits. Gained it all back plus 6lbs. Not happy about about my weightloss over the years. I keep thinking if only I had stuck w/it, I'd be at my goal weight by now, and then some..lol

So today.. January 17, I'm starting fresh and with a fresh mind. Forgetting my weightloss past, and looking forward to my weightloss future. Today I weight 193.5. I would love to lose 48lbs, but I'm not going to be in a hurry. I'm going to let this new way of life including a good balanced diet, plenty of water and excercise take control and see where it leads.
